Formula for water intake calculation

When I ask clients for manual lymphatic drainage what drinking regime they have, I often hear they do not drink much because they are not thirsty. However, we can not rely on the feeling of thirst, especially with illnesses and when we are getting older. The feeling of thirst is also missing when the body retains water, often due to a malfunction lymphatic system.

On the other hand, too much drinking is not suitable for the body, which is detrimental to kidney function. This can happen during so-called "drinking from duty", when people drink unnecessarily often because they "know" they should drink.

General formula for drinking regime calculation:

Daily fluid consumption in liters is determined by multiplying your weight (kg) by 0.035 (your weight x 0.035). For each 11 kg of overweight, add 0.25 liters of this and add another 0.3 liter for one cup of coffee.

Drinking mode is very individual and is influenced by many factors such as body weight, height, physical exertion, outside temperature, current health status, kidney function etc.

Drinking regime, according to the needs of our organism, is very important for the proper functioning of the lymphatic system. It directly affects the state of our immunity, helps to effectively lose weight, cleans the body and removes fatigue.

The quality and consistency of the lymph is directly dependent on the drinking regime. Insufficient drinking regime results in a dense lymph that circulates slowly and the lymphatic system works worse and inadequate.
